Welcome to another segment of "My Photo Journal". Yesterday, I traveled the backroads to capture a few barn scenics. After shooting some landscapes in the Mount Joy area, I decided to drive to strasburg and photograph barns and the Strasburg Railroad at a local rural spot. I have photographed at this place before during a photo workshop with Ed Heaton.While waiting (and waiting, and waiting some more) for the train to come, I shot a few more barn scenics. The train finally arrived, bellowing with much black smoke from the steam engine. This shot was well worth the wait!
